House of Many Colors

My love of red has become well known, so I thought I should mention that only our kitchen is red! It is actually red, black and white. The living room is two-tone blue, with touches of pink.

The office is a bright cheery yellow.

When we get my new, uber feminine bathroom with the soaking tub finished, it will be pink and white, with splashes of mint green and hot pink.

At the moment our bedroom is sage green, with this great waterfall mural that we "inherited" from our son,
but our bedroom has traditionally been lavender.

So basically, we really like color and variety!

Beautiful. I wish I had more color in my home.

My husband likes off-white walls, so that's what we have in every room except my room office, which is sky blue.

It looks lovely Tracie... I love the colours you have here. Our computer/spare sitting room, (where my son and his girlfriend tend to go and kiss in peace!) is a lavender colour or is it lilac.. or are they the same colour? Anyhooo it's a lavlic colour and it looks cosy. My sitting room/ dining room is green and my kitchen is a horrible yellow/mustard/off beige... Husband painted last week and his excuse was that, that was all he could find in the shed!

You weren't kidding about liking colors! These are certainly vibrant ones for every room. When I first moved into my house, everything was vanilla - the carpet, walls, ceilings, even a door knob that someone was a bit too lazy to cover.

We have something in common, I love red also. My kitchen, dining room and family room have at least one wall that is red. To me red is so warm and romantic! When you hang a picture on a red wall, the wall just wraps its arms around it.

I love color too. I have a green room a brown room and a yellow room. Who knows, we might be related! Ha! Ha!
