I'm impressed you still have that doll too! The story of the bonnet reminds me of my childhood cat Fluffy. I never tried dressing her, but I used to stick her in my bike basket so I could ride her around the neighborhood. The poor cat. She HATED IT.
Well...the truth is, after I put the bonnet on the cat, I'd do the same as you - stick him in the basket of my bike and parade him around the neighborhood. So humiliating for a poor cat!
