"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." Philippians 3:8 New American Standard Bible

Ages ago, when my brother and I were still living at home and dreaming about moving out, we dubbed the irritations of August as "August Syndrome." Parents seemed crankier, we were crankier, everything seemed uncomfortably hot and irritating. August Syndrome. I hope you will survive it until September comes :-)
Seriously? But maybe we would make your August a bit brighter! :)
Oh, I'm sorry you hate August...I've always thought of it as "my" month since it's the month I was born. A bit egocentric I guess!
May this August bring you comfort and peace and even a little joy if possible.
We will see you in September.
Aw, sorry about that.;)
I guess it is too hot and humid where you are at;)
Here August is the last summer month, so we try to enjoy it the best we can.;)
xo
Your label at the bottom says "Grief" My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will miss you if you do not post or visit me...however I will also understand and be back in September :) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I laughed out loud when I read your post! Sorry! I hope you are not grieving or anything. It could be worse, you know. Your A/C could not be working, Your computer could have crashed, you could have shingles, your car could have died and your pet may be sick.
Your husband could have gotten sick, your tomatoes could all have mold, and your peaches could have a blight.
Someone could have put something in your fish pond and killed all your fish.
No, wait, that is my life in July.
I hope that your August is boring. I hope it is better than my July.
Boring is good!!
Sending you warm thoughts and prayers. See you in September.
"See you in September" from your fellow grammarian :)
September... seems so far away.... *hugs*
Enjoy your break!
I dislike some things about August, but there are others that I like. It is perfect swimming weather, for one. But I am so glad it is nearly September! Autumn is my favorite season ... and Tracie will blog once more!
Hello Tracie ~~ I am sorry August is a hassle for you, but it will soon be over. I am so glad you enjoyed your son's wedding so much and it sounded like a lovely one. I wish the happy couple all the best for the future.
Thanks for your comments and I am glad you liked the jokes and the old photo. Take care, Love, Merle.
