Remodeling Conundrums

You never know where things will end up when you are remodeling,

But a Queen always finds her throne.

Cute pictures! We have a little camp grounds here in our town. In the summer the people who own the houses in the settlement, come to spend the summer. They have camp meetings and such.

Anyway, when some piece of furniture breaks, they set it outside and plant flowers in it. I have seen barbecue grills with petunias growing out of them, I have seen old washing machines full of flowers, bicycles, watering troughs, shoes, and other things.
I wouldn't be surprised some day to see a toilet with flowers growing from it. These people try to see who can outdo the other with their creativity.

Funny! We had a toilet sitting in a backroom while we tiled the bathroom floor. The triplets were probably 5 years old then. They kept going back there and peeing in it!....no plumbing...just an emtpy toilet. Yuck. LOL!

I love the humor. What are you remodeling?

HAH! We've so been there. When John refinished our first floor floors (whew) we had to move all of the living room and dining room furniture out to the front porch. It took a couple days to complete the job, so we had Max stand guard over everything at night. Living in the city, you worry about someone rolling up in the wee hours and offloading your possessions when they're LOCKED INSIDE, let alone sitting out front. All turned out well, but it was a funny (and exhausting) process. GOOD LUCK!

We did a whole house remodel about six years ago. Holy Crow! Remodeling must be taken with a grain of salt and a lot of humor!!!
We had the fridge and microwave in the garage!

Remodeling is a huge project, we are doing a bit of that ourselves, and come to think of it can not remember a time when we were not building or remodeling, it is an adventure and good fun to make your nesting space - your own.
