Good News All Around

I had a great visit with my new cardiologist today. I am released to exercise! That should help with all sorts of conundrums. Exercise helps regulate mood, blood sugar, weight, circulation - I am looking forward to getting back in shape.

I also found out recently that I am getting a super present this Christmas (or thereabouts). A new grandbaby! Anna will have a sibling soon. Don't babies just make you happy? Me, too.

Speaking of Anna, she and her parents will be here in just over a week. I am so looking forward to seeing them all. Hopefully this rain will let up a bit, so we can take Anna to the beach for the first time in her young life. Although I am certainly not complaining about the rain, which we needed quite desperately. I do feel a little sorry for the cows in the pasture behind our house, although I have to admit they seem to like it. Probably cools them off in this intense summer heat.

Wow, does it ever make the grass (and weeds!) grow - well, the flowers, too, though. But now that I can do things again, I hope to weed around the crepe myrtle plants and help hubby mow the lawn. So what's up with you these days?

So glad you are gettin on track with your health issues.

I had an appointment with my ocologist Tuesday, and I'm 2 years cancer free. In January I will begin a new medicine for 2 1/2 for years. God is good, and I am so thankful for this good report.

How exciting a new baby...I love babies too. And Anna how nice to have a little sibling.

Trusting you will have a great weekend.

Dear Tracie ~~ I am so pleased you are having such good news. Firstly
that your health has improved is the best. Exercise is great too for us. I thought I was too old to do any (77) but I can see how they have helped me and they are not too hard to do.
A new grandbaby - how wonderful for you. I hope you get nice weather and all enjoy the visit.
I am glad you liked the 57 cent story - it was very popular. Good on you for being involved in a bus
ministry taking kids to church.
Loved the women over 40 too.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Wow, I'm so pleased to hear this! That you're back blogging and that you can start exercising again. Hope the blockage problem improves.

Dear Tracie ~~ I hope you are continuing to get better health.
I am about to see a cardiologist too
as my heart rate is too slow, so hope he/she has a magic little pill.
That mammogram technician was so
unkind, they are mostly very kind I have found. It's not so bad and is quick. Glad you liked the Yellow Light story. Your MIL was unlucky to have the policeman yell at her as it was mostly his fault.
I hope you had a lovely visit with Anna and her parents. Take care my friend, Love Merle.

Nothing's changed here! Still all work with not enough time for my blogs! Glad to see you back, and have slowly been catching up with all your news. So much has happened in your life over the past 9 months. From this moment on let it all be good. x
